Help decode 67 M40 data plate

I need help decoding my 1967 M40 data plate. The plate reads 67B 552 CB67-3832. I know 67B is 1967 427 but 552 is when in 67??? I guess it would be 552 days from sometime in 66 when 67 fullsize cars started production??? Also what does CB67-3832 mean???? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/confused.gif

Re: Help decode 67 M40 data plate

You're in the right direction.
67B=TH400 in 1967 Impala series w/427cid.
552=Day Transmission was assembled,starting from Jan.1st 1966.= Thursday July 6th,1967.
CB67=Trans. intended application/year.C for Passenger Car,B for specific engine application meaning behind a 427cid.in a 1967 Impala series.
3832=Is the Transmission serial number,which according to my reference,falls into that time period for when your trans.was assembled.
