NOS shock numbers
 

I have some NOS rear shocks that I need to confirm the application 3192943 Code ZZ on the sticker dated 222 68 that I have a listing for 68 -72 Nova with Heavy Duty Special perf susp. I just want to confirm the application and a pair of 3171450 that changed to 3197638 dated 62 which I beleive is 62-64 full size chev and a single 3192942 std susp Nova dated 222 68 stickered ZY anyone know for shure !!! I have a pair of 3171475"s dated 62 63 that I think also fit a full size. Any help would be Greatly Apreciated !!!

I recognize the 3192943's as standard rears for 1969-70 four door Chevelles only.
3192942's are standard rears for 1969-70 two door Chevelles w/o 396cid.,w/o F-41 and not Elcamino either.
Maybe Verne can help with the 638's & 475's..

-----I think all El Caminos (with the exception of 59 and 60) came with air-shocks in the rear. I have never seen one without all the way to my 1986........Bill S
