Most 4 series cases have the small square hole....

Most 4 series cases have the small square hole. I've seen a few with the larger oval hole. but not many. All Eaton gear sets have 10 teeth on the pinion gears. They are 18-10, 17-10 and 16-10....

Almost all of the pinion seals that you get now...

Almost all of the pinion seals that you get now are for the 12 bolt truck rear end. Some of them are deeper than others. I've had to leave some of them sticking out about 1/8 inch on car housings...

You can see the step at the bottom of the bores for the sleeves to sit on. I don't believe there is enough material between the cylinders to run it as it is.
