There is a vin on the frame, but I do not see any vin on the body itself, looks to be hit and miss as this is the second time I have seen this.

hidden VIN on 1970 GTO

this is the second car I have seen that has no VIN on the body, nothing behind the heater box? is this a common thing to not have a hidden VIN on the body? are there other possible locations? thanks...

When I restore leaf springs in a natural finish normally I soak them in a rust remover after cleaning any grease and oil or undercoating from them. If they are not badly pitted I will steel wool them...

Thanks for the compliments. Carl and I own that car together. It runs pretty strong for how heavy it is, we put a 3.90 gear in it and Pipes exhaust this year and it picked up 4 mph and a half second....
