Cool.
A freshly restored 69 Hemi road runner hard top just showed up hitting the local cruises around town this year. He was just up at the Rt66 show this past weekend.

Just for interest, I'm not sure which "known" 69 hemi road runner convertibles you're aware of, or if this is one of them that are known, but Don Petty (yes related to Richard Petty) that lives near...

Never mind, I'm mixing your statements in with your question.

If you have a real OEM grind, we can assume the LSA is 114 degrees.

What I would do is mock it all up and see where the ICL falls...

AC is a deal breaker for us, meaning if it has it, I don't want it  I don't enjoy the extra clutter that comes with it.

I'm with Charlie, I'd use the car that has the better sheet metal. ...

Thanks Pete,

I didn't think a Y-59 topper was available so I was thinking of using an R-59 you have pictured, and doctor it up like a Y-55.

I sensed you meant a Y-59 is available since you...

I've thought about doing that. Only thing holding me back is whether Y59 is molded into it or not. Would be tough to remove the 9 and replace with a 5. If it were a decal that makes things easier.

Thanks William,

So it is a small block thing, I knew there was some stipulation in there somewhere, lol.

Interesting the AIM shows all 8 cylinders with the conventional battery. Even our local...

Reverse polarity is what the stores call them. It's simply just the + and - terminals switched from side to side.

Early 69 Z's such as mine have them reversed, so the negative is closest to the...

Correct me if I have this backwards, Isn't the Y59 only correct for the later 69's and the Y55 is for the early 69's with reverse polarity?

With that said, to answer your question would require...

Then when I turned...

Maybe he's just not aware. He may not even be asking L78 money for it. If he is asking L78 money for it then I guess an argument can be made.

But I tend to think since I see this car at the Pavs...
