Stitching Sunvisors

Short of picking up thread and a long needle and doing it myself, is there a shop that'll re-stitch the edging on sunvisors? I've tried both local interior shops and they don't have the equipment.

This is an NOS sill plate with the factory rivet removed from the original plates and installed in the NOS plate.

I did something similar on mu '70 Cutlass prior to MCACN this past fall. The NOS sill plates didn't have the rivets.

I put a piece of tape over the front of the Fisher Body tag on my factory...

Great question. One of the fins on the aluminum W-27 cover had to be removed (instructions in the PIM IIRC) to allow for the additional fuel line which was required for California cars.

I'd even take it a step further than that. It's a California car with the "California modified" W-27 cover to account for the additional line. Talk about rare!

Those are convertible quarter panels so not nearly as pricey as the hardtop panels. Last hardtop panels I had sold for $6k last summer. The convertible quarters are anywhere between $1500 to $2000...
