Could it be the harmonic balancer has spun on the rubber ?
I had this problem years ago on a L-S6, unbelievable vibration.

I did use to own the Two-lane Black Top car, actually an Orbit Orange RA IV Judge, It still resides with the fellow I sold it to about 25 miles from me.

Nice tips, nice color, my car is a 11E on the cowl tag , build sheet reads 12/6. It has an incorrect exhaust installed in 89 so I'll be going with the Gardner exhaust and some rolled tips when I find...

Here's my new aquisition. Sold new out of Gardena Ca. 1 repaint the rest is near surviver status, does have a incorrect exhaust. 41K miles.
Almost a twin to Phil's (WOJ) car.
