My first car 1969 Camaro RS/SS 350 4 speed. Bought in Oct 1979 for $1100.
Original paint back then. I wanted a 1970-72 Chevelle SS but found this first.
Painted it in 1982 and changed stripe color...

I would think that adds alot of value here. I would market it as that. Only 80 of these at the race in 1982.

To remove the core itself, there is a clip with 2 hex head screws that are behind the foam seal piece. Slide the foam seal off the two tubes and you will see them. There is also a push on retainer...

Why wouldnt you just use a clean body 1970 Camaro instead of tearing everything out of an original car like this. You would have the same result. Just doesnt make any sense.
