Z/28 fuel line

I'm In the Process of restoring my 69 z/28. After 22years of owning it I decided to give it a clean up. My Question is the fuel line is original(3/8) and has black paint on it and slight scaling....

Thanks Olredalert I was told by someone else the same thing. That is the whole reason why I posted the Question. I do not see Broach marks. I think I will remove the heads and look at the deck...

Back in the day when you could buy a L-88 over the counter from your local chevy dealer. Is it correct that there are no numbers on the deck pad area?
