I've asked this before, but never got an answer. Was the entire load rest painted blue, or was the adapter blue, while the hook remained gray. If that's the case, would the rivet be left unpainted?

I'd consider removing the stands, and replacing them, for no other reason than to sell your original bbc stands. You should be able to get replacement stands really cheap, or maybe trade with someone...

For the future, most COPOs did not have the 140MPH speedo. All of Yenko-ordered COPOs for conversion (ie adding badges and stripes) were "Double COPO" (9561 and 9737) as well as a few other COPOs....
