I have a $50 ebay unit, works well so far, clean everything first,[wipe all the plastic and vinyl off, glass cleaner works pretty good] let it dry 100% and run the ozone machine maybe half an hour....

Seems crazy to 'upgrade ' to a rearend that would be visibly 'wrong' for the application when you ain't never gonna actually need the additional beef. Save your $$.

In 1966 my brother was a box boy at the local A&P...on that paycheck he was able to buy a new 66 Chevelle SS...not many box boys driving new musclecars today.
