Re: 1970 Nova F41 sway bar

I don't have one, but aren't all the sway bar parts and numbers listed (with an exploded diagram) in the assembly manual?

Re: POLISHING ALUMINUM VALVE COVERS

Eastwood has a buffing kit that goes on a bench grider that works very well; it's messy and time consuming. Also, put a good polish like Mother's on after buffing to get it to last a while, and...

Re: Odd air cleaner base

Driver's side vent tube I've seen on early vette (66-67) 327/350 with vented crankcase (vent is behind distributor) and uses special crankcase vent tube and rubber hose section to connect.

No...

Re: Welding Muncie broken ears... any suggestions???

I second the recommendation to send it to Jerry MacNeish @ Camaro High Performance. Their aluminum welding skills are amazing; just look at some of the disaster intakes he's brought back to...

Re: Crappy seller's on craigslist!!

I think Craigslist has gotten much worse than ebay; at least on ebay there's some accountability. I had one guy in Tampa string me along for over a month on a '66 Caprice while he was up north;...

Re: 1970 Yenko Deuce II For Sale

Did the Auto/Stick shifter in the TH400 Deuces use the bolt-on stick or the welded-on version? Thanks, BCD.

Re: WIW? 63-5 Muncie, Baltimore VIN B134574

To the guy with that VIN -- A BUNCH.

As an early Muncie core, needing rebuilding (if after pulling the side cover reveals that all the gears are OK) around here, $400 - $750. A similar one...

Re: Worst buying or selling decision!!

Sold the strat and amp too not too long after.

Then in 1986 I sold a matching-numbers L-78 69 Nova 4-speed(needing resto) for $2800 because I was being transferred to Iceland and didn't think...

Re: Worst buying or selling decision!!

Almost forgot - 1983 - traded a plain-Jane '69 Camaro with fresh 4-speed, 12-bolt and MQ '68 396/375 that I'd just rebuilt for a Fender Stratocaster and amp. I still can't play guitar.

Re: Worst buying or selling decision!!

1983 - Passed on a '69 Camaro SS350 4-speed Convertible for $1600 - had some rust in the qtrs.

1997 - Passed on a '72 'cuda 340 4-speed for $1200 - rusty but complete. Listened to the wife who...

Re: digital camera recommendations under $300.00

The least expensive digital rebel is slightly above your price range, but with interchangable lenses offers a LOT for your money. You can get a 55-300 lens as your next purchase for $175 and...

1966 Caprice ZL1

Not mine, but it sure caught my attention; new ZL1 tripower in a 33K-mile 66 Caprice. Claims to have the first new ZL1 block. LVCamaro/Steve, do you know this guy? I'd be interested in the rest if...

Re: LS-7 crate engine

Adding up what it would take to build one today from available used high perf parts and you're north of $3K pretty quickly, especially considering all the little parts and tin. That's where I'd...

Re: Papa John's '72 Z28 - $25K reward

Twitter site says "is offering $25K to the owner" as if he'll pay the OWNER the $25K for the sale of the car to PJ; quite a difference from the 'finder's fee' that it sounds like in the rules. Don't...

Re: Oil Cap Restoration

I meant the MerCruiser p/n. They evidently don't use the GM p/n; that would make it too easy!

Thanks, BCD.

Re: Oil Cap Restoration

If someone finds one at a MerCruiser dealer, please post the MerCruiser part number! My guy said he couldn't help w/o a p/n or specific application (other than BBC).

Thanks - BCD.

Re: 70 bucket seat 4 spd shifter location

Weren't gauges an additional option that could be added after you selected the console option? So your nova could have been buckets/console with no gauges, like a zillion camaros, possibly.
