That's the same highway trip that I get my mileage from. My 05 does 20 mpg empty if I keep it at 70-ish. If I drive stupid to keep up with traffic at 85-ish it only drops to the mid 18's for MPG. ...

I don't have a new one but I do have an 05 4x4 crewcab duramax that I never drive unless I have to tow something.

I have used it on a couple road trips though. It has gotten a best of 20 mpg...

That's what keeps me from buying them. We do at least 10,000 miles a year so in less than 4 years I'd spend over $3000 in tires LOL
