Re: 1970 Chevelle SS

It's just personal preference. I just want a stripped down muscle car that is all about the horsepower. No luxury, no frills, just horsepower.

Re: 1970 Chevelle SS

Same thing, love the car but don't like the interior color. Not that it can't be changed but I hate to change an original car just because it is not my taste.

Re: 1970 Chevelle SS

Maybe I'm just being impatient but I am going to open up my search to other cars. I really just want a nice, original GM muscle car. I LOVE day 2 cars and cars with drag racing history. I tried to...

Re: 1970 Chevelle SS

Shadow gray with saddle interior is a very interesting and I'm sure rare color combination. Huh, not sure what to think about that.

Re: 70 W31 Identification

Okay, good to know. I just assumed that it would have a QX stamped into the block identifying the 350/325 just as would be stamped into a Camaro or Chevelle. Unfortunately it doesn't sound like...

Re: 70 W31 Identification

Not sure what other info can be given, the questions is pretty straightforward. Is the QX suffix exclusive to the W31 or was it shared with other Cutlass models? If you are looking for carb, head,...

70 W31 Identification

Don't know a lot about Oldsmobiles so any help would be appreciated. If a Lansing built 1970 Cutlass S has a matching numbers QX code engine, is that substantial enough proof that the car is a W31 or...

Re: 64-65 GTO

Re: 1969 Nova L78 Kentucky

I have kind of hit a dead end unless I can find someone that knows the car or a vin number. Not much to go off of unfortunately.

Re: 1969 Nova L78 Kentucky

These are the only two pics that exist to my knowledge. I am going to call the DMV tomorrow but this car was likely never registered being a drag car.

Re: 1969 Nova L78 Kentucky

The guy was local in Kentucky and would have been in his 20's or 30's making him 50-60 years old today.
