my experience with Quanta belts is that they are fine for going to the ice cream shop. if you plan on some high revving action they are no good. they flip over and fly off.

Thanks. Basically they say 30 minutes soak time. More for extreme crud etc. They state that you can soak 4 hours to overnight but you will be at risk of removing plating etc.

I just bought the almost gallon can of Berryman Chem Dip from auto parts store.
I did my Holley 7B3 4053 with it. Not harsh at all. Dipped parts for about 15-20 minutes. Easily cleaned carbon etc....
