After watching that commercial, I can easily see why GM is on the verge of bankruptcy. Looks like something the 6th grade Drama Class came up with.
What they should have done is have a commercial showing a GM exec standing at a podium, and using a slide show, talk about "Famous Bad Decisions in American History". They could show the guy that invented New Coke in the 1980's, the famous Sony Beta VCR, Bill Clinton talking about how NAFTA will help the economy, Michael Jackson holding his baby over a railing, etc. Then show a picture of the guys responsible for killing off the Z/28 and Trans Am back in 2002.
On a positive note, the old Z/28 in the commercial looks pretty cool.
