Here in the Chicago suburbs, our local Chevy dealer has a $7000 markup on a red V6 Camaro that just arrived. I didn't know what made me angrier, the markup sticker, or that ridiculous global warming rating next to the window sticker.
I find it amazing that all the only thing that young designers can come up with today is stealing from the past. We now have a Camaro again, with 1969 styling cues (like the console gauges), a Camaro SS, a 427 Corvette, a 1970 Dodge Challenger with a 426 Hemi, a Dodge Charger, a 1968 styled Ford Mustang, Shelby Mustang, etc.
Seems like 1968-1970 were the peak years for Musclecars, huh?
