As Rob said, do not sweat the ETs. As any racer will tell you, a new car takes time to get dialed in. A few years ago when we put the current mill in the Yellow sub, she ran high 12s, this weekend a 12 flat out straight out of the trailer.
IMO, you are ahead of game because you and the other Nickey owners were not afraid to bring your cars to the track and run them, for the whole world to see. Often times these types cars are built as collector cars, where the builders/owners boast about how much HP they have, and what numbers they should run, but that is all talk, as they rarely run them. None of them would have ran their car as you did, knowing it was hurt.
In fact, that can be said for everyone who raced a car on Friday, new or old. Hats off to all of you.
