Default Taught the teen daughter how to drive today!

First time ever behind the wheel, other than driving the lawnmower for the past 2 years. She actually did really well, other than obsessively concentrating on the turn signal and ignoring the brake pedal at times.

I had her drive her great-grandmother's Firebird that has been in the family since new. She was actually named after her Great Grandmother.

The really bizarre thing is that Grandma Rose use to have this weird habit of using her left hand to activate the console mounted shifter whenever she'd drive. And what happens when dear daughter gets in the car? She starts it up and then reaches over with her left hand to activate the console shifter! Cue the Twilight Zone theme now....

Here's a shot of her very first burn out on the gravel parking lot of her school....(allegedly unintentional, she claims).
