Certainly there were good and even some great deals.......I don't think that I would ever buy at an auction if I didn't think there would be a deal to be had.

I bid on a bunch of cars that weekend both for our inventory as well as for individual customers.

While some people just have to have a particular car for their collection and will bid accordingly, others do look for deals, while some even bid.....just because the can!

What is amazing to me is all the warped opinions from individuals (on other sites) who have never participated in the game? Some of the sideline commentators wouldn't even qualify for an entry level bidders pass!

The auctions responsibility is to put buyers and sellers together as well as facilitate the transaction.

R & S did just that. The auction had a tremendous sale/sell rate.

The same people complain when prices are too high or when cars don't sell.

It has generally been a buyers market for the past few years and I think its great to see cars moving at reasonable prices.

I never expected to take home a 1966 Austin Mini Moke or Buick Stage 1 Convertible but I thought that they were good deals and I liked the cars. I did expect to take home the 1972 Pantera and the overall presentation of the '41 Willys was just amazing.
