Cool on the guy's 'Vette, is it a L72 Coupe?.
If worth pursuing, as previously mentioned try searching Stumpf w/ a U in the Dayton area as Google yields a few possibles involved in automotive related businesses there..
One Stumpf has a towing shop also another works at a Honda dealer so who knows what info one quick call may provide?.
There's a Stumpf Ford dealer in Wisconsin too..
