Some guys get it and some guys don't, in the end i will be building the motor to my taste.
You have to do what makes you happy not others and i just hate having that high octane fuel sitting around my house and then bringing it with me before i fill the tank.
Car will still perform great when i am done.

Well you're the one who asked for opinions. I gave you mine. If you have a gas lawn mower (leaf blower, generator, chain saw, etc.) and you store fuel for it, it's just as dangerous. 87 octane is no less "dangerous" than 115 race fuel.
And we agree, its your car, so do whatever you want.
