On a sadder note, the area being discussed isn't far from where the Golden Horseshoe Dragway was and the location of Dick Harrell's fatal accident in Sept. '71..

Could someone try and give me an idea of where this 'Golden Horseshoe Dragway' was located?
I recall going to some races in the late '60's early 70's, with my cousin who lived then in Georgetown (I guess Halton now) and it seemed a lot closer to get to from his place than Cayuga would have..
I was always wondering where we had attended the races and now after hearing this was wondering if this could be where we went. If so any idea where is exactly was and for how long it operated?
