Ram Rod was a '68 thing but still on the W31 air cleaner only for '69.
And yep, Ryan no doubt the man for the car!
He tried fighting it at first but all just too cool to say no...now he's an Oldsmobile man.

Heh welcome again to the world of oldsmobile!
And what a fantastic first oldsmobile to have!!
I can't believe people actually passed up on this car !!!
If I can be of any help in any way let me know..... </div></div>

I fully understand the &quot;goodness&quot; here guys!!!

Every muscle car magazine I have opened since I was 12 has some story like this in it...........well the stories do happen!!

Now I am going to get all emotional, tune out if you wish.........as was approaching turning 40 I decided to actually get involved in the passion/hobby/obsession that has gripped me since I can remember (I used to take Hot Rod magazine on our family vacations and read it over and over again)I set up a trip to PSMCDR in 2011 and my heart was opened up, I met guys like Gary Place and Rich Corsello, and even got to say hi a few times to COPOPETE RIP. One think has led to another, I have found great websites like sYc and met great people like Dan and all-a-y'all, and have started attending events in Canada, Illinois, New York, Ohio, and Michigan. And a week ago I would have said my crown jewel of Muscle car awesomeness was our L89 Display at MCACN 2014.........now PeteLeathersac calls and again my perception of how cool being a car guy can be gets blown out of the water. The moral of the story is don't be a super shy guy like me up to a few years ago, get out there and talk to similar minded people and enjoy our hobby every single day!!!

I am stepping off the emotional roller coaster now feel free to tune back in to the detailed W31 story...

Ryan
