Default Re: end of 40year road trip

Thanks all for the interest. Story continues, grab the popcorn,LOL. Sent for docs and got a surprise. This is beyond any doubt the car Charlie bought new at Fencl Tufo Chev in Glendale Hts Ill. NCRS docs show that car as delivered to Barford Chev near St LOuis Mo.which turns out to be another notorious dealer of Chevy supercars! It must have been a dealer trade. Both dealers known to have big Muscle displays outdoors in fair weather and spring of 68 Fencl Tufo had a bunch of Camaros on the lawn and they hooked my brother in, but his was on the showroom floor and was the only Z28 with that 4.56 rear end which he wanted. No we are not crazy this is that car. Just noticed the holes from the air shocks he installed back in the day, everywhere we look there are bits of evidence. Not sure on the insurance company but will explore that. State of Ill archivist swears they only go back ten years tho that seems strange. The only thing we have dug up is the village of Lombard vehicle sticker application with plate number, no VIN. Barton closed in 1980 so no help there. The car deserves authentication so we will keep digging. Any body know if British Gree was limited to muscle cars? color chsrts show it as a Corvette color only. Another clue? Thanks for the help. Save our cars and please do not ship them overseas!
