Default Re: Very rare two-tone camaro

i owned a 69 camaro, it was hugger orange with a white painted top..with a houndstooth interior...it had halo moldings and appeared to be a real painted top car...it was still in original paint...but back then...no one cared about the trim tag info on a 327 2bbl glide car...it was just a camaro...that was around 81-ish..i was in high school...i bought it from the original owner...an older woman (prob 40s then..i thought she was ancient) for $300 the trans slipped and she had a brand new 81ish malibu and no one wanted an ORANGE camaro with a hideous interior...i need to think about it and could prob figure out the year..but who cares...

was such a nice car...so clean..and of course i tore it apart and put a 396 and a 4 speed in it..drove it for a few years... i sold it to a buddy and of course he pro streeted it...or started..last i saw it it was behind his mothers house with the floors cut out a ruff 2x4 rear frame and was so screwed up it never made it back to the road..he killed it...just like many of them back then...the pro street movement killed more nice orig cars than you could ever imagine...i was there and saw it..luckily i was neveer a fan..i thought they where stupid...

the only really realy nice one i saw was in around 82-3..the guy that owned a video store in my neighborhood won the Car Craft give away pro street new body Camaro...and it was sooo nice..but stupid..lol
