1970 Dodge Challenger R/T 440 6 Pack Automatic.
This is one of only 793 built with an Automatic. This was owned for years by Bob Lees one of the original Ramcharger's team member. He purchased the car from another Chrysler employee. This car was in Chrysler's Headquarters lobby in Auburn Hills. And The WPC Museum. This car was ordered by a Chrysler exec. The body only has 19,000 miles on it. The body is rock solid. It is Sublime Green now with a black top and Black Hounds tooth interior. The original color was Plum Crazy with a white top, white interior and a White longitudinal stripe. Very rare color combo. The other rare option on this car was the rear end.
It was ordered with a column shift Automatic with a Super Track Pack 4.10 Dana 60 Rear end. Manual steering and power disc brakes. Rally Wood Grain Dash Tach. Car runs real good and hard. Older paint but in good shape. Original interior out of another R/T SE. I have the build sheet out of this interior for that car. No cracks in the dash pad. All electrical works. This car was done on a rotisserie and the under side was done also. This car has all of it's original sheet metal including the trunk and floors. Engine is a 70 date coded F440 H.P. Not the original to the car. The rear end is a 8 3/4 with a 3:23 posi. Still has the Hemi Leaf springs #O24 and #034 are the last part numbers. 15 x 7 Rally wheels. Correct original 2998956 Radiator. Original Carbs and Intake. I have a correct E body 4.10 Dana 60 complete that goes with it. $49,500 for all. Or car alone with out the Dana 60 $46,500.
