And now – to answer a question you did not ask – is how they take those cool “in motion” shots that you see as of late (Robert McGaffin photos)
This rig is used to fixture the camera, the car is rolled forward (very slowly, no faster than a person could walk backwards) and a time exposure is taken. It is attached to the bottom of the car with magnets and then removed post process via Photoshop.
