I recognize those part numbers -

We used to use the 3846202 to attach the front of the truck fenders to the radiator support in the assembly plant.

There were two suppliers: Lang and Ferndale.

One was silver (cadmium) coated and the other was oiled. The oiled bolt was the released bolt but would crossthread easily and break the weld nuts, causing a nasty repair. The silver bolts would not crossthread as easily so we would go through the plant and steal them from where ever we could find them. We would run them all second shift and then, at the end of the day, lock them up and set the black bolts back out for first shift to run.

I can't remember if I had lunch today but I can remember the part number of a bolt from 40 years ago.
