Cool car no doubt ,mostly to a 70 yr old and up that was at least a teenager in 1968 but the hype on this one is way over the top.. Its future value regardless of what it brings wont be timeless ,it needs to bring the money now....IMHO
I disagree - it's value WILL be timeless. BULLITT still remains a very popular movie. It has been released on DVD, Blu-ray and will be released on the new Ultra HD Blu-ray. The movie holds up against time BECAUSE it is and will always be the benchmark for car chases. There are no uses of under or over cranking the cameras. No CGI or special effects. It won the Academy Award for Film Editing because of the car chase. Ford continues to make Bullitt Mustang versions to this day.

And it will bring the money now. It is being hyped for 5 months - then it will be put on the auction block for ANYONE to purchase. No private sale here. No anonymous buyer. And anyone with an internet connection can watch the sale.
