[Lee Stewart]

This car brought back a memory . . . I turned 18 in May of 1969. Was shopping for a muscle car with a $2000 price limit. I went to Monticello often and there was a Chevy dealer on Main Street. On the front line was a car just like this one . . . sort of. Same color exterior and interior except it had a bench seat with a 3 speed manual. If I remember, the only options were the stripe and a AM radio. The car sat there for the entire summer and when the new 1970 models came out, it was still there - brand new, never been sold.
