Ted,

I worked there for 36 years...still going but has been bought out after it hit 100 years in 2003. Warren Buffet's company owns it now.

I have the SPS rod bolts in my 302 and still going. At the time, they were the best you could get as they were made..(by me and others)by an Aerospace company. They have been fazed out by ARP and others. I did my best to get them, to keep making them but they said there was no money to be made? Aerospace bolts are what keeps them going. I have made all kinds of bolts over the years. I would still use them...I have a set or two laying around and some big block ones as well. Mr. Gasket use to sell for us. I have since left the company.

I say use them if you have them installed now. If you look in some of the old Catalogs or even Motion catalogs...you will see them in there.
