Wow, a chrome trans dipstick tube? Is there any other car that came with
that from the factory? Can't be many others. In the pictures, it sure appears that the dipstick handle is chrome, so I'll bet under the grunge the tube is also. Cool stuff, Verne!
IIRC, one of the Muscle Car mags a few years ago did a build-up on a 340HP 409 and it wound up being a pretty stout engine.
