So reading through that stuff, it seems with headers and 8" slick, the camaro with 4.56's ran 11.94? That's pretty impressive back then. I'm comparing that to a buddy's '69 L78 4sp Nova. He had headers, jetted carb, recurved dist, slick but not sure what gear. Car would run 11.70's in that trim.

Now a Nova was 300 lbs less then a camaro, so could a stock-ish Yenko Nova back then run 11.40's???? With todays tech and tweaks, they should be pretty close to a 10 stock-ish car?
