I always thought you could put like a 2.73 rear in one of these, and maybe really use first gear. It would almost be like having an OD trans.

The 3/4 ton came with a 4.10 rear gear to make the 1st gear all the more worthless.
Yep, short beds are "cute" but they aren't much for actually hauling stuff. Kind of like the millions of 4 door pick ups now with a 5 ft bed..
