Sorry I've been absent the past few months, things are a little on the crazy are around here (nnnooooo?

) since we'll be moving again soon. More on that later, but in the meantime with the 507 coming along, I needed some mechanical dirtiness since I'm fresh out of projects. Enter that flathead from that 52 Ford I bought as a donor truck to the Flames to Fantastic 52 Ford I redid for my buddy!
I finally got around to tearing it down to check the block out. Seems like these things like to crack and when they do, they do it in style. Luckily this one is only cracked in one of the head bolt to water jacket areas which is common and not a big deal. Oil pan rail and valve seat to cylinder wall are perfect.
Off to the shop for a bake, cleaning, and a mag check. Then, who knows? Maybe a hi-boy lakes style 32 Convertible with retracting top?

We'll see. This is a 52 8BA still sporting a little of it's original green paint which is strikingly close to Detroit Diesel green.
Thought I'd post up since it's been a while!
Cheers
