Some 65s had round stainless steel VIN rivets, and I have seen others from KC with one of each.

Door strikers, door latches and screws were NOT painted in 64-67 Chevelles, except for KC cars built after mid June of 1967 which had painted latches and screws but NOT painted strikers.

The carpet looks original (or at least old) based on the wear by the side of the passenger seat. The floor mats are repro 67's though.

Where'd the spare and jack go ??

Definitely a lot of fluffing under hood and chassis. Wrong master cylinder, coil, later optikleen, etc.

Nice car, but that bid price is insane IMO for a 283 glide car. My 67 327 / 3-on-tree elc has 22K miles, was one owner until a month before me, and is every bit as nice as this one (minus the fluffery). But I got it in an auction for less than $17K ...
