Went to the NPD site and looked up the bushings. 2 different sets. 1 with what they described as "soft" rubbers and another as firmer. Decided to get the firmer set and put them in my cart. Went looking for various other 1966 Chevelle parts and everything came up for a Camaro ?? What the heck ? I finally realized I had put in my '67 Camaro for the initial search...
I've been working on the Camaro for months and only brought the Chevelle out of storage last Monday, so the brain hasn't caught up with the current focus of attention. I found the correct Chevelle bushings and they were described as "soft" too, just like Jeff said, so kept the firmer Camaro bushings too. Looking at my 2 cars, I "think" the upper bushings will interchange and I'll get a better outcome from the 2 sets....I hope. I ordered new roof rail seals too and then I was "ONLY" a few hundred short of free shipping, so we all know what a car guy does with that... start filling in the order from the wish list ...
