I've seen them advertised on TV, they're not very big, about the size of a womans purse, and run on battery power so you're free to go where ever you want. Supposedly covered by insurance and Medicare as well. May be a good alternative for you until you're healed and don't need oxygen any more.

Those are very expensive - like $2500. But I will look into them to see if Medicare will pay for one. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.
