If I recall correctly, it was in Neil Thompsons basement garage, and we spent a few hours looking it over, and hearing stories. he didn't buy the car, but came home and started on his own car.
Eventually, he ran a Vega and set a record with it with his cousin driving at 249.7 mph.
They built a streamliner as well, and set records with that too!
That was a fun road trip, staying at Motel 6's along the way, and the 8 track in my W31
cranking out the tunes!
