I had a ‘75 RV245 Racer also a ‘78 340 new, no good in snow but tough to beat on the flat or track!

Yes Pete, '77 340 RV, I beat that thing to death on the woodland trails of Northern Wisconsin
All my car buddys had snowmobiles and the Arctic Cats and Polaris could blow by at 100 mph on the lakes, but on the trails Joel (original owner of a '67 Z28) and I with our RV's would run away and hide from them.

I also had a '76 RV 340 that came with an instruction manual to modify for racing. Should have kept that one!

Previous to the RV I had a '75 Sno Jet SST 440 with a Yamaha SRX engine. That one was fast and fun, steer it with the throttle sprint car style.

I could write a book on snowmobile shenanigans! - Bill W
