3972121 carb 70 LT-1, want to trade
Restoring the 70 LT-1. I have a very nice 3972121 carb, complete that runs just fine. It is NOT cosmetically restored. I believe the same carb was used on Z/28 with four speed. Pretty certain it is a one year only carb.
My car was build Feb 11 or or 12 of 1970. I have the born with engine, trans and rear. Alt and distributor are correct and dated correctly for the car.
But, the carb is dated 054, or fourth week of May. I can live with it being the wrong date, but before I send it off to Eric to have him make it look like a piece of jewelry, I thought I would check to see if someone has a carb dated prior to the end of January 1970.
Would be good with a straight up trade. I realize it is a long shot, but you don't know if you don't ask.
