As has been stated, you really want the "GOODYEAR WIDE TREAD GT" white letter tire.
Firestone was the other supplier. Correct tire is NOT the "wide oval", but the "Firestone Sport Car 200", also raised white letter.
I had a set of the Firestones on my car. I really do not like the look. Have Goodyears now. Can't stand driving on either. I drive on modern radials mounted on Centerlines with hub centric rings. The Goodyears are just for show. A set of 5 will set you back about $2500 these days, PLUS shipping.
Check with Rusty (smallhurst). He may have better pricing.
