I think it has been said a number of times in this thread that your car is currently the earliest "KNOWN" car next to Grumpy's. Another car with an earlier VIN could show up tomorrow, but no one knows.
You've got a great car, so I'd stop worrying about whether it is the first, second or third "sold to the public". I don't think anyone really puts that much emphasis on it. My old red 4P L78 is the next known car to yours. Unless it was the first built or Grumpy's car, it wouldn't matter to me if it was the next, second or third. I'd just be happy that I had a cool 4P L78 with the original motor
