Default Re: 67 Yenko Camaro question revised?

well we got all the original body panels on the car and started w/ the fenders that have emblem holes filled, you can see them from the backside and the outline from retainer nuts left...its the camaro emblem on top then a 67 impala v flag below w/ two holes set wide apart that measure up right for it and that's all, no 427 emblem holes, and no 396 or 427 turbo jet v flag 4 hole patterns, just camaro above fender crease and impala big flag a few inches below crease, and ss emblem holes at front of fender. I spoke again w/ last owner I can find in 76-80 from old registration and he said I was correct, that's all it had for emblems, no 427 emblems or turbojet emblems, it also had a ss gas cap he said w/ no engine designation, it had the flat plain jane hood w/ hood pins then and now, not a ss hood, all body panels have been sanded down and have orig red paint under the white paint and grey primer he did in 80', he said the car had a 60 over 427 w/ tripower, and had to be rebuilt by him and his buddy in76, he didn't know anything about yenkos then just thought it was a bigblock, he was able to help us w/ gauges in car and walnut ss steering wheel, rs w/ console, s/w gauges in the console , and a 10k s/w tach black face bolted to the dash on top of by pad right of steering wheel, hope to clear up more info on orig setup of car, hope it helps anyone w/ 67 yenkos built after 3rd week of may.. My car also sold at same dealer as the black one on this thread..
