Well hear she is....I just pulled out my 1972 out of storage yesterday and thought I`d share these pictures with everyone. I have owned this Chevelle since 1978. I learned how to drive, race, get tickets, etc. with this car. Priceless memories.
The car has been through many changes...I`m amazed that I and the car have survived together with all the crazy times I have had behind the wheel.
Currently the car sits with it`s 1984 circa Lacquer Pearl White paint. All original body car...except Glass Hood and new front fenders in 1984.
I plan on finishing the restoration....Yeah I know...I`ve been saying that for over 20 years. The last time the car was registered was 1986. It`s been in storage for over 20 years...where did the time go? As you can see by the pictures, I built the car to race in what was then the all new NMCA Fastest Muscle Car Drags. But as we all have heard this one...."The project fell apart" I got married!
Perhaps I will re-paint the car back to it`s original color of Mohave Gold.
I welcome any idea`s from all members as to: "What type of Restoration would you give her" Color, wheels, resto-mod, etc.
