That may be because the Vette is hooking up so well on the polyglass, and there isn't much of a 60 ft improvement with the slicks. No doubt 10.59 only glass is impressive. It doesn't hurt being 3300lb and having the perfect set up. What Wayne has done with that vette is darn right

The Buick was just put together a few days before the event and obviously needs more track time.
The Hemi gained nearly a second with slicks over polyglass. Finally getting some power to the pavement! I wouldn't be surprised if next time around someone hits the high 9.0s. Guess who that might be.
If a F.A.S.T. car on slicks first time out hitting 10.25 doesn't impress, well.
