[b] Found this 67/68 ? Cougar XR-7 on a back road over near Atglen today. It was sitting for quite
some time out in the woods, as the full glove box will confirm. Shame, its an a/c car with the
fancy dash with all the gauges and toggle switches.

There was a man coming out of a building next to it when I pulled up, and he told me it was
his sons car. He had gotten it from an old man who had worked for Ford and had a few of these and
when he bought a new one, he just parked the old one in the woods!
We got to talking and he told me he restored cars, would I like to see what he was working on.
We went inside the building, which he later told me was where the Chalfont automobile was produced
from early 1900's until the first world war. After that it was a Buick dealership.
I went inside expecting maybe Mustang's or Camaro's but found something quite different.
Inside were a couple of Rolls Royce's, a boattailed speedster (I believe he said it was a '32 Packard)
and much more. The man was an artisan, the craftsmanship was unbelievable!
There was a Chevy Woodie he had rebodied that was fantastic! He had cars there that he was
hand making body panels for. It was amazing to find this level of craftsmenship in an
unmarked building out in the middle of nowhere.
