Dear Yenko Sportscar Club members;
Thank you for your donation of $5305.00 to the Nick and Kelly Children’s heart fund.
This wonderful contribution will go toward our camp program. With your help, this year we will send 95 Arizona children (ages 7-17) with heart disease to a medically supervised heart camp on Catalina, CA.
Many of these children have never had an opportunity to spend a night away from home, due to their complex medical conditions and nedication schedules. At camp they are able to make friends as they relate to peers who share similar health conditions and concerns. The most common response we hear from our children is that, for the first time in their lives, they no longer feel alone. Parents and doctors describe the camp experience as “life-changing” for those young heart patients.
