4X4 wheel help
The Donahue volunteer fire dept has been awarded partial funding from fema to puchase a new brush/rescue truck. We have spected out a 08 Ford F450. This will allow us to carry 300gal. of water and 15gal of foam, scbas, and limited medical equipment. Our problem is that a 450 comes only with dual rear wheels. In the terrain that we cover, we need a single rear wheel setup. We've been told that no one is yet making a wheel conversion setup for 08 F450s.
This board has a lot of diverse, and knowledgeable folks, so does anyone know where we can go to inquire about this setup?
